As the second generation of the iconic ROG Thor series, it introduces upgraded cooling, improved components, and refined acoustics, making it one of the quietest power supplies in its class.
Certified with 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency, the ROG Thor 1000P2 minimizes power loss and heat generation while delivering consistent, stable power to high-end CPUs and GPUs. Built using low-ESR capacitors and premium internal components, it ensures long-term reliability, excellent voltage regulation, and superior efficiency under demanding workloads.
To achieve near-silent operation, ASUS equips the Thor 1000P2 with oversized ROG heatsinks that provide up to 2× more cooling surface area, significantly lowering internal temperatures and extending component lifespan. A 135mm Axial-tech PWM fan with dual ball bearings delivers powerful airflow with reduced noise, while 0dB technology keeps the fan completely off at loads below 50% for silent operation during light and moderate use.
